This policy applies to all CCTV cameras installed at Howling Wolf Bakery Ltd premises, including but not limited to entrances, exits, production areas, and customer service areas. It covers all individuals, including employees, visitors, and customers.

The operation of CCTV systems will comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The Company ensures that CCTV usage is lawful, fair, and proportionate.

- CCTV footage is collected and processed in line with the Company’s Data Protection Policy.
- Cameras will not be installed in private areas such as restrooms or changing areas.
- Signs indicating CCTV monitoring will be prominently displayed.
- CCTV footage will be kept secure and accessible only by authorized personnel.
6. Retention and Storage
- CCTV footage will be retained for a maximum of [30] days unless required for an ongoing investigation or legal proceedings.
- After the retention period, footage will be securely deleted.
- All recorded data will be stored securely to prevent unauthorized access.
7. Access and Disclosure
- Access to CCTV footage is restricted to authorized personnel, such as management and security personnel.
- Footage will only be disclosed to law enforcement agencies or other authorized bodies in accordance with legal requirements.
- Individuals may request access to CCTV footage concerning them by submitting a written request under data protection laws.
8. System Maintenance and Review
- The CCTV system will be regularly maintained to ensure proper functionality.
- The effectiveness of the system and this policy will be reviewed annually.
- Any identified issues will be promptly addressed to maintain compliance and security.
9. Employee and Public Awareness
- Employees will be informed about the use of CCTV through training and Company policies.
- Signage will be placed at all locations where CCTV is in operation to inform the public.
